this car is a piece i swear

hey i need to know whats up with my piece. it wont spark. power i s going to the coil packs but something is stoppin the coil pack from send ing the power to the pluyg. i changed the afm, and the crank angle sensor. i tried spinning it freely and nothing happens. can the ecu be bad?? help im going nuts!!! URGENT

if your not getting spark at all the coil might be bad itself. Test it with an Voltmeter.

yea im going to test it first thing in the morning. but i just tooks some packs off of my turbo II which for a fact ran. and now they are not sparking. can the ecu go out. or something that is soldered in there come loose?

Um, wait.

You're putting t2 packs in a N/A.....if so. I don't know what that would do.

The ecu could be messed up, maybe. Or you put the crack angle sensor in wrong. How did you test it for spark anyway?

i pulled a spark plug out and connected it to the wire and put it close to the strut bolt and cranked it over and its not getting any spark what so ever. with either coils. but there is power getting to them. cause i checked that. but the power isnt leaving. so u think ecu?

thew crank angle sensor is in there right. i also put another one of those in. when i try to semilate and spin it they dont spark

That is ******* way weird.

Okay, instead of testing spark that way. try this. take off the cap from L1 and rest a screw driver in it. with another insulated screw driver stick it by the one that's sticking out of the coil pack.Then have some one crank it over see if there is arc.

I only suggest this because you may not be able to see the spark coming out of the plug as well.

I don't think it is ECU. because we'll. hmmmm....that's weird. See, the reason why I think maybe you put the Crank sensor in wrong is because the ECu may have a fail safe just in case it is put in wrong and thus no spark.
Maybe Hailers would know.

Anyway, I don't think you can just spin it. you have to crank the engine with the ingnition system giving power to the starter. This is related to the postion of your key in the ignition because when it is there it opens up relays like a switch giving power to components essentail to start up.
