i havent figured out what caused it it could be because it was raining really hard making a belt slip (idk which one but i heard it half of the way home) or it could be because i had the defrosters on because it was getting foggy (first time i had to use the defoggers since i got the car) or it could be because my radiator cap doesnt seal 100% and leaks a little

I narrowed it down to the leaking radiator cap or the slipping belt but idk which one was slipping it was raining really hard and i didnt want to run it any longer or have to stand in the rain too long i will just replace all of the belts soon

the only real tip is that the belts will thread through the fan, just change belts, nothing else needs to come off

if you got a/c or power steering you gotta get those belts out've the way, think the air pump too

Uh, most important tip is don't overtension the belts..bad juju in the long run.

Also, if you don't *need* your airpump, ditch it. Block off plates exist for the acv and you then must get a dual sheath alternator pulley that allows you to run two (preferably nice gatorback) belts. No waterpump slippage, and it's unlikely both belts would fail simultaneously.
