Temp hits H in 10 seconds and coolant dumps out, but where from?

What isnt even funny is I just did the ATF the day this happened. I drove my car around for a couple hours and then all of a sudden the coolant buzzer starts going crazy and my temp sky rockets. I put water in it and can hear it flowing out as the rad starts to get full, then I start it and the same thing happens.

The thing is it appears to be leaking from a hose that enters the driver side part of the motor, but I cant find a single thing in the manual on it. Could the ATF have fucked something up?

I dont know how the ATF messed anything up, but it sounds like a water seal let go...

Fill the motor up (cold) and leave the radiator cap off. Crank the motor. If you get a geyser coming out of the filler neck, you are screwed...

Well... There are a couple of point that you wanna check, make sure somebody didn't leave the drain plug open on the radiator. Also check /replace/re-tighten the coolant hoses that are running back to the engine from the radiator.

check your coolant lines that go to your heater box. There should be two within a couple of inches from each other that go right into the firewall. Both of those split on me at the same time on the highway once. Tow home. Sonvabitch. If that's the problem, then replace them (duh) and replace ALL of your hoses. Winter is harsh on belts and hoses. The rubber hardens up and cracks prety easily in a constant cold/hot/cold/hot cycle.

Ok, I just went out and started it, no geyser. But I can see fluid spraying out plain as day. Its coming from where the hose right under the oil filter meets the block. Is this where the coolant seals are?

yep, i was right, heater lines. they're like $35 each at the dealer, and you might as well replace them both, along with the top and bottom radiator hoses.
