my friend has a 86 series 4 and he jus rebuilt his engine... he wants to kno if he can replace his temp sensor with a aftermarket sensor and guage.. he wants to do this because his stock guage doesnt work... u guys can email him at

Its easy..

Remove the existing sensor, and fabricate some adapters to adapt the remaining hole with the aftermarket sensor. Someone here has posted the sizes already (Ted or AARON I think).
