TEIN lowering springs
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33582
I know there have been a ton of threads about this, and I've read them but I can't seem to come to a conclusion.
If I bought these springs would I need new coilovers? or anything else?
I just want to have it lowered, (and if you have seen my car you would agree it needs to be lowered) I'm not conserned w/ it throwing off my alignment or make the ride a little rougher, b/c I can get the alignment fixed and I dont drive an Rx-7 to be comfortable. I'm conserned that it will in someway hurt my suspension if i JUST replace these springs. Can anyone give me a straight answer to that? Any help is appreciated.

you could put these on your standard coilovers.
thing is they arnt going to drop your car much, they are only going to lower it one inch. which is sweet **** all. save up and invest in fully adjustable coilovers.

Those are drop springs, NOT coilover springs. All it does is replace the stock spring. If you're still using stock/OEM replacement struts, then dropping the car might damage the seals inside the strut. Anytime you drop a car with drop springs or the a coilover sleeve/spring (ie. Ground Control) it is always best to get an aftermarket strut with a shortened shaft. That way you still have the same amount of suspension play w/o worrying about the strut bottoming out.
One of my friends had those TEIN S.Tech springs on his 91' 240 and the ride wasn't that bad, it was actually kind of smooth. Although I am used to my TEIN Type HA coilovers.

If you install springs that have a higher springrate than stock and also lower your car, you pretty much have to get aftermarket shocks that are valved harder, so that your ride doesn't turn to crap and so that you don't blow shocks all the time.
