I did the TB mod to my GF's car and I plan on doing it to mine, I liked the way it feels. But one problem is that when my GF tries to start the car it still tries to do its cold start-up **** but instead of revving high like it used to do it just searches for a rpm to stay at, really annoying and sounds like the car is gonna blow up

I assume its because there is no thermo wax in the TB anymore but is there anyways to prevent this (I I tap the gas it will stop, just like it would stop the high start idling) To me just tapping the gas is no problem but my GF hates it so I need to find a way to make it start normal

model and year is in my sig...

 

This is the side effect of the mod. It idles like crap until warmed up. If you want this mod and she doesn't, can't you just switch throttle bodies with her?
