TB mod now it wont hold idle

I need some help. I did the TB mod, and can't get my car to idle right now.
First I adjusted the TPS to 1k ohms, then it wouldn't idle. So I adjusted the Throttle stop screw. The only way that it would hold idle was if I set the throttle stop screw at about 2k rpms.
So my question is....what order do I adjust stuff to get the correct idle. For example throttle stop, then TPS, then BAC? It will sound like it is going to die at about 1k rpms. Could I have missed a vaccum hose or something? I need it fixed asap.

Oh yeah I have a 87 TII if that makes a diff.

Does it sound like a vaccum prob, or a adjustment.

First try to go through everything that you messed with when doing the TB mod and go from there. If the problem wasnt there before then something probably isnt right.

yeah sounds like u have a vac leak, use a piece of long vac hose and prob around with one end while listening in the other end. It will sound like a loud hissing sound. I did the TB mod and it corrected my high idle problem, so u must have made a mistake somewhere.

You probably have an intake leak somewhere if it won't idle below 2k. Check all the vacuum hoses you removed to make sure they are secured, and not cracked...if they are hard, replace them. Also make sure the gaskets all sealed properly. Have somebody start the car and make the car idle at 2k or whatever. Than take carb cleaner, or starter fluid and spray it around the gaskets and see if the idle raises anywhere...if so, thats your intake leak.

Yeah Im determined that its an intake leak. When you do the TB mod and get rid of the cold start system is there any lines that need to be capped off. I only found one that didn't have a line to go with it, and that was on the TB its self. Does that sound correct?
