TB mod

Does anybody know whats involved in the "TB mod" ? i tried searching "TB*mod" but only came up with one title in 3rd gen section, any information or a point in the right direction = teh thanks.

Removing the 2ndary throttle body plates, plugging up the holes it creates (from taking out the bar that holds the throttle body plates on)... and taking off the thermowax. While you have your TB off... might as well bust out the dremel and give the TB a good porting job. Be careful though... or you might hit coolant passages. I did a very minor porting job on mine.... just sharpening the metal that seperates the 3 chambers... and making the "triangle" at the end pointed. Here's a couple nice pics of a very nicely done throttle body.. this is what I wanted to do, but was afraid I'd go too deap and pop open a coolant passage. Plus, I ran out of dremel bits . I recently did this... but right now all I have is the 2nd set of throttle body plates taken off. I don't have any plugs or anything to plug up the holes (extra un-metered air will get in... causing lean conditions.)
