Get an oil filter pedestal with gauge ports in it. All the vendors have them.
Or weld a bung into the oil pan.
The stock S4 temp sensor has a metric thread but is also needed by the ECU for cold start, so don't disconnect it.

its been disconnected since i bought my car. i dont know what wire goes to it as there are 2 or 3 that look like they should snap on. on has a bullet clip the clicks right on but it comes from the top of the intake mani area. and its yellow, and these pedastols make it stick out more?

No idea...I suspect it will since Mazda has not changed the oil pedestal mounting area on the rear iron casting since at least the 12A. But why not just get one made specifically for the FC to be sure?
Then again, the oil line on the FD connects to the pedestal instead of the rear iron. So it may not fit.
