Question Tanabe racing medallion for a FC

I know of someone who has that catback exhaust but on his GTU but he isn't too talkative at all and doesn't wanna tell me how much he paid or where he got it.

I tried looking for that particular system all over but no luck. Could anyone help me out, please. I like them because it is a single exhaust and replace the Y pipe. I love the muffler design. It is similar to the Apex'i N1 single exhaust but has a shorter tip on the muffler.

Help me out, please!

I dont even think Tanabe makes the hyper medallion for our cars. I know that its made for the FD's. Are you sure that its Tanabe and not some other lookalike?

I don't believe Tanabe has ever made an exhaust for the FC. It may be a custom exhaust with a generic muffler can or something, and not necessarily a pre-made system.

Kakimoto has some single-side FC exhausts that have "short" tips - dunno if that would be it.

Well, I take that back...

They make the "Super Medallion Hyper Spec", which is a dual system. $650.

Does it exit on the the drivers side or passenger side?

Could it be the corksport exhaust?

"Glass wool is superior of heat resistance, noise absorption and hardening resistance. This is a very special material"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't a rotary just melt a glasspack? Most rotary specific exhausts are packed with metal not fiberglass. I'd do more research before I put $650 down.........

I know there are Hyper Medallion exhausts for our cars but I interested in a Racing Medallion. The guy had one in his FC, It came out on the driver's side and it sounded beautiful. And it looked awesome.

Tanabe makes the Hyper Medallion exhausts for the FC but they aren't being sold on the US Market, I believe. If you have some sort of hookup from Japan, then that's probably the only way you can get it.

If not the Tanaba Hyper Medallion, it could be the Trust exhaust or the Kakimoto exhaust. They all look very much alike.

Tanabe produces the exhaust for the FC in japan. But they have been known to explode overtime from the extreme back pressure and heat caused from the FC.

Yes Kakimoto Produces a N1 style exhuast which exits on the passenger side..
The Rx7 store sells them at an affordable pricing.
