Taking Out air pump.. is it bad??

Im deciding to take out my air pump. My car with the air pump will not pass smog even if i have it on. I really dont need it. Will it be a problem if it is not on and i take it out.?

on the s5's, 89-91(2), it controls the 6th ports. s4's there is no problem with removing it but make sure you gut the cat so it doesn't clog up faster on you.

He won't have 5th/6th ports on a Turbo.

If you remove your airpump you will burn out the stock (and most aftermarket) cats.

It'll be a little louder, but it won't sound all squirrelly-crappy since you have aftermarket mufflers.

edit: i cant speel

lol 150fc.

yeah, it will be a bit louder. but if you don't they will clog and collapse killing your exhaust flow, overtaxing the motor, making you slower then a corolla. as a plus, getting it will yield a good gain as you've lost that restriction. if your main cat had the precats **** in it like mine, you'll see a good gain.

/\ /\ /\ Yea do it right get a downpipe and a midpipe i almost said persilincer(sp), but that would be a waste of money becuase you woant have an air pump.

i have gutted cats (i didnt do it previous owner did) you get a better out come (more boost) with race pipes
