Taking out 5/6 port rods, the screws stripped...how do i get them out now ?

Taking out 5/6 port rods, the screws stripped...how do i get them out now ?

Well the screws hold the 5/6 ports rods that turn stripped out when i attempted to take them out, i am blocking off the acv and taking out all the 5/6 port stuff but how do i get this out when the screws are stripping...sure enuf i got a spare lim but i may have the same problem... so how do i get these out when they are stripping/ already stripped from trying to take em out

Grind the heads off, then drill out the shafts and retap the hole. Or just leave the ports in place.

Cut a slice into the top of the screw with a dremmel, then use a flat head screwdriver, with lots of pb blaster.

rule of thumb....... any small screws like that .... always give the screw a couple good wacks with your screw driver and a hammer..... I've done it on the very same one's...

Yep, that's how you do it... slam it in there really well then push as hard as you can on it then try to turn... you can feel if it's gonna strip it... if it breaks free it will BREAK free, if it starts moving and it didn't feel like it BROKE free all of a sudden, you're stripping it.

Already stripped you could always get the tool, can't remember what it's called but it's a drill in reverse... ez out I think it's called.
