Taking apart tail lights

I've got a spare set of S4 tails and i think i'm gonna take em apart and see what i can do with them.. mabey make the turn signal part clear or somthing... Nothing ricey !!! I hear you can put them in an oven for a period of time and temperature.... Searched but i cant find the proper temp and time... anyone wanna clear it up???

I thought you soaked them in hot water until the adhesive seperated from the heat, then you just have to air dry the parts before reassembally

Mabey i'll try that... seems a bit safer than using an oven

Use a hairdryer and concentrate the heat on one spot at a time (if you don't have a heat gun). Then pry slowly as you heat each spot.

Well got them apart... not much i can do with them... so i just cleaned everything up really well... polished the lenses... repainted the plastic black... and they look better than ever now
