MI Taking apart FTP's

Has anyone taken apart the FTP lenses? i.e. putting them in the oven or anything? If so what is the best way? Thanks.

probably heating them up and taking them apart carefully.

what are you going to do with them if you take them apart? making them actual driving lights would be sweet.

they are like that in japan but i saw the price to order them, no thanks. wayyy to pricey.

i managed to get a pair (for free some how) and i took a hair dryer and i heated them up and carefully took them apart and then you do the same to put them back together. not too hard or anything. takes a few minutes for the seal stuff to loosen up.

i took mine apart to fit lights in them.. Heat them in the oven just like tail lamps. Set your oven for hot, doesnt matter what temp really because you will have to stay around and just get an idea for when they are ready, leave them in for few minutes til they are nice and warm and try to pry them apart while they are warm. Be careful not to crack them or use too much force.
