If you are going to go through the trouble/expense of Pineapple sleeves, you might as well as make your 6 ports work. Go with the Pineapple sleeves, theyre worth every penny. I have something similar, but without the sleeves, and the results were impressive.

remove the 6 port system and leave the Pineapple 6 port sleeves in there in an open position, the guy from pineapple racing said if you use loctite with the ports they will stay in place, and you will have all that 6 port actuation system nonsense out of the intake manifold.

My friend just had these put in his new GSL-SE motor...
Droping the motor + new tranny + new clutch + new radiator + new motor/tranny mounts + cleaned injectors in tommarow... Maybe it will be running by then.

I've got the sleeves and the gains were minimal. The car revs alot smoother though. I would guess maybe 5 horsepower, just bairly enough to notice a difference. I would recommend only doing this if you are removing the intake for other reasons. While you're at it might as well have the injectors cleaned also. And replace everything that looks old. I say the sleeves are well worth the money; but not gonna make a slow car, fast.

Yeah, I am going to be removing the intake to get the injectors cleaned, attemping to port the upper/lower manifold and might as well throw these sleeves in there to see if it'll make a difference.
I am down on cash, so it's probably the most affortable mod for me rite now.
Moreover, I think I am running rich around 6900-7500rpm(hesitation around there), by porting the intake and getting the sleeves, I am hoping it will lean it out abit. Getting a safc would be ideal, but no money.
