tail lights and dash lights do not turn on
so I cant drive my car at night (which is when I most want to) the headlights and brake lights work but not the tail lights or dash lights. Fuses look good, but i dont have the outer box. but either case if a fuse fell out i would find it. Someone help me here please
Tails and dash lights are powered by the 15 amp Illumination fuse (fusebox cover pic is in the FAQ section). The fuse powers the White/Green wire in the headlight harness. W/the **** turned the voltage from the W/G wire passes onto the Red/Black wire (powers the tails) and Red/Green wire (powers the dash lights) in the harness. If this does not occur then either the fuse, switch and or harness is bad.
I highly recommend soldering a 30A SPDT relay into your headlight switch harness - this will prevent it from burning the harness and switch.
Search for Icemark's post for the install instructions. (Note, he uses a different acronym, which is the OLD name for SPDT relays)
