Tail Lights
I have a 1987 Turbo II and some puck kid threw a rock and hit my left tail light. It's busted and i need a replacement. I found someone with the later model redisinged tail lights. I was wondering if these would fit right in or if it will take a little doing to get them in right. Thanks

what year is yours? all the second gen. tail lights are roughly the same in size, the 86-88 are a little different for install, not as attractive either. try to find a nice pair of 89-91 lights and they should fit in rather easily no matter what year of 2nd gen you have.

The 86-88 style taillights look good if you paint them to match the car. The 89-92 style are different, but not necessarily better looking (in my opinion).
You have to grind the 89-92 style down in the rear a bit from what I've heard to fit on an 86-88 car

They will fit, but yes you have to grind down a spot on the car, you'll see it when you try to put the newer style in. Its pretty minor.
You will also have to replace the L plate frame at the same time, the older one will not work with the newer lights.
