Tail lights

I own a 87 n/a gxl FC and I'm curious if the series 5 tail lights bolt to the series 4. Im in love with the look of the revamped lights and I'm not sure how much is involved with switching them out.

I see the allure of the S5 lamps.. I have used them myself on many FCs, but it does sadden me slightly that more people don't want to rock the S4 units. The S5 lamps do have more of a modern Japanese flair to them.. But the S4 lamps are a classier, more European look.

With proper LED bulbs and polishes lenses and bezels, the S4 units look very slick. Even with an S5 bumper cover.

To each their own, of course. I just worry that the ultra focus and therefore devaluation of S4 lamps means that lots of them end up in the trash. :-(
