CA Aftermarket Side Mirror - Glass

Hi everyone,

So like many people on this forum I too am a fan of aftermarket side mirrors for the FC (RE, Eastbear). Reading through the prior threads people have stated that they are very impractical for left hand drive vehicles. My question to the gurus out there is if it is feasible to replace the glass on these side mirrors so they can accommodate left hand drive vehicles. Also if it is possible then would there be a possibility to place a convex glass like the Broadway rear view mirrors so someone can get the most visibility out of the small but very cool looking side mirrors.

i think the problem is merely the size of trying to focus your eyes on such a tiny mirror, it takes too much of your attention away from the road. convex mirrors wouldn't really do much in that sense, maybe even exacerbate that issue even further.

i've had the displeasure of driving an FC with RE Amemiya side mirrors and i hated them.

if you want to do something different try scouring wrecking yards for mirrors with a new style that you can modify to fit the car that don't substitute size for style.

its not the glass, its that its meant for the driver to be on the other side, so they don't adjust far enough.

well the east bear ones have a tweakable bracket
