I have the stock s5 lights but I just wanted to know what you guys think about doing a j-spec conversion type mod to them. Or If anybody had already tried this can you post pics???

I always thought it might look cool if the amber lens was replaced with a red one. Anyone else ever considered this?

you can spray the amber lens red with stained glass spray from a craft store, just did it to a friends mx6 along with the same type of painted conversion(but using actual airbrushed stock color) and once you clear it, it looks sick

I saw a guy that had the exact same thing as the PS'd pic above. Looked OK, but it looked wrong to me, like it wasn't supposed to be there.
I love my S5 lights. (And my S5 car!)
I was thinking about painting them on the inside with the dark tint paint though.... just to accentuate the round light effetc.

Personally, I like the S5 lights better than the S4 lights. They're a smidge more modern looking than the lights on the S4s. Just my opinion, but I do think that modded S4 lights would look fairly nifty.

Hmmm, since we're talking about lights, let me throw this out: Anyone ever think about making their RX_7 "wink"? By wink, I mean momentarily (~1 second or so) close one headlight (while on or in cleaning position) and then open it back up at the press of a single button.. Sound interesting, or lame?

Ok, I'm not sure if you guys really got what I was talking about doing. I have the stock s5 light (I have a 90 GTU) but what I was talking about doing is just making the round part stand out a little bit more. Not sure how they would look or even if it would work like the 3rd gen lights did in the link at the begining of the post. But I thought that it might be worth a try once i replace my cracked right light (to test this on the broken one). So let me know what you guys think about maybe doing this
