tail light conversion.

I was wanting to swap out the tail lights on my 88 for the round 90 ones. I was wondering how difficult this is and if it is at all possible. I was probably going to get some tail lights from a junkyard and try it but thought i would ask if anyone has knowledge about this type of things.

any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Shouldn't be a problem swapping them...just make sure they're for coupe or vert, depending on which one you've got...that's all I know of that you need to watch for...then again, I'm no expert either

Right the 'vert ones have a keyhole. Be sure you get the license plate surround too or you'll need to cut the series4 with a dremel. and you have to enlarge the opening for one of the wires just a little. But it's worth it I love the series5/ savanna tails. This subject has been covered already hundreds of times, so search and ye shall find.
Welcome to the fray!

I wish I could just "find some at a junk yard". Even when I see an S5 in a yard, the lights are already gone.
