Why you need one for?  The stock tach works fine...
I dunno who told you "their" tachs won't work with the car, but the FC is one of th easiest vehicles to install an aftermarket tach to.  Both the leading and trailing ignitiors have a "tach plug" that you just simply tap into with the aftermarket tach input lead.

I second that. Mine works fine. The only reason I got an aftermarket one is...the shift light. Im busy watching other things while Im racing. But I race mine on the strip, not the street. They are really easy. I got an autometer for like 140bux. Install time 20min.
