Tach signal for fuel computer

Where is a good source for the tach signal? I'm assuming it would be the same for an aftermarket tachometer. Somewhere on the coils or the CAS?

Yeh, there should be a black wire with a 1-pin connector hanging around near that trailing coil somewhere. Think the leading coil may have one too, not sure...

Thanks Wayne.

Isin't there a waste spark generated by the leading or trailing or is that with the distributors only? It makes a difference with the fuel computer as it times the fuel injector spray with each ignition event.

Connect it to the trailing coil (it's closer) and set it to 4-cyl.
