t3/4 bearings vs. ht-18 bearings???

ok the id and od sizes are the same and i have read that the stock center section uses standard t3/4 parts...

but the t3/4 bearings dont have the groove cut around the middle of it for oiling like the stock ones.
1. where can i find replacement bearings with the groove???
2. or should i just machine gooves into the t3/4 bearings???

any guidence is nice

i am working on my own hybrid if you were wondering

You might actually post this in the Single Turbo section, as they would know.
Although someone will probably respond here eventually.
