well lately my car's trans is acting weird on me,
ever since few nights ago, it's been hard to get into first gear or reverse.

i usually go FIRST then REVERSE so it won't grind, but when i do that, i hear THUMP from the front cabin. I don't really get into the gear prolly near the beginning i hear the thump.

to get into my first gear i short of do double clutching, just clutch in and release and clutch in to get into first gear, but most of the time it's still hard, another way i do it is go into second and then first, when i can't get into first that's what i do.

since reverse is also hard and first, i go into third or second then reverse and i still hear a THUMP.

i know my tranmssion going out just wanted to know what really is going on.

and last my fourth gear, it vibrates in lower rpm, and my RUBBER pieces(unsure of the name) prolly shift boot? all three pieces are riped up. what does these rubber boot do really? i think i may need some tranny fluid in there because boot rip letting everything dry out.
