T2 Tranny in a n/a

Will a t2 tranny go into a n/a, my syncros are going bad in my tranny, and i was just offered a t2 for 400.00 the whole car, but no title. And the engine heats up and wont start. So i thought about pulling everything off it i need for a turbo swap, and then buying a block for it...but for now i want to know if the tranny will bolt up.

Thanks
Buddy

Yes, the T2 transmission will bolt directly to your engine. However, you will also need to use the flywheel, starter, clutch slave cylinder, clutch, driveshaft, differerential, and halfshafts from the T2. Note that it is easier to swap the entire rear end sub-assembies rather than piece out the differential and halfshafts. Also, if your car has the small brakes and 4-bolt wheels, now is a good time to upgrade to the T2 parts.

Your car will be a little slower with the heavier T2 parts.
