OR T2 TPS options HELP

My throttle positioning sensor (TPS) is bad, so it's time to look into upgrades. I have been told that the stock TPS is practically an on/off switch, so my question is what (if any) other options do I have for a TPS?? Please include manufacturer, and part # if possible. Big thank's to anyone who can help...

car info: 83 rx7 : 1988 t2 motor, turbo(t4), 40mm wastegate, unsing 8+year old microtech (not sure which model) currently tuned around 325hp.

Try an s5 TPS and use the S5 Throttle body.
only use the widerange sensor. The one that rides on the cam.
Hook it up like your S4 TPS.

thanks misterstyx69... are there any options without switching my throttle-body? also...if I do switch out my throttle body, I believe the s5 has a dual TPS of some sort, are you saying to use only part of it? finally do you have any idea where to find a S5 throttle body quickly?

are you pre-mixing? otherwise factor in rigging the OMP to still function

s5 TBs can be had in the for sale section.

I do have an OMP working at the moment, and still premix on occasion to be safe. I would like to have a working OMP.

I'll bump this as I am sure I read someone had done a S4 omp linkage onto an s5 TB.,
It just involved that linkage part being taken off the old s4 TB and put on the S5 TB.

can't use an s4 tps on an s5 ..
or an s5 N/A TPS on a TII or vice versa.
But you can use a s4 TII TPS on an N/A and vice versa, same part.

You can actually use an S5 NA TPS on a S5 Turbo II, you just need to swap them to the appropriate bracket.

I have S5 Turbo TPS sensors mounted on my NA bracket and it works fine.

I'm going by Mazdtatrix part numbers and they do not match.
Maybe it is the Bracket that isn't correct to swap..I'm not sure on that Point.
I got fed up with the 25 year old crap and went Haltech.(PS1000 not ancient, like the e6x).
The only old thing on my setup now is the TPS..is is an FD TPS...oh,and me..I am the oldest thing IN the car now..lol!

Lmao misterstyx69 im goung with a haltech when i pull enough mobey for my turbo swap. Right now i just need this bitch(yes my 7 on her period. we had a fight last night)i looked on mazdatrix and tge part numbers are different. And actually different in price too. like $417 for an na and 298 for the t2. On the picture the bracket offs different but in my defense, don't the t2 and na have near similar tb ago if you unhook the tps from the turbo bracket can't you just re hook it into the n/a? Sounds like a good theory.

What kinda mod to the bracket in order to make it fit?

Nothing. It is held on with little bent tabs. You can just bend them back straight, slide the sensors off the bracket, put on correct bracket, and then bend them back.

I'll try to remember to take a pic at work today of this, and post it when I get home. It's really simple.

Yeah, I got a nicer, less beat up TPS on ebay than any of the NA sensor that where listed, and just put the two sensors on my NA bracket.
