if you can this'll also make initial swap simple
longblock motor
wiring harness and ECU
if you can the full turbo drivetrain

everything is bolt up with minor details

You'll need the s4 t2 pressure sensor and s4 t2 afm. Those things don't come longblock. Plus anything else that might have been removed from the block before shipping. www.jspecauto.com is good times.

Hey man... what's the company you are getting your engine from? Because I went with FnF Japanese Motors and they advertised the engine saying "it will fit in 87-91" and my car is an S4 and the engine came and it's an S5 engine. Be sure you find out because it'll be a bitch swaping the S5 TII into a S4 car. (but more HP)

alright, im doing the same swap as we speek, im actually searching the internet and gettin all the right parts i need, so you will need the presure sensor, im gettin the RB Downpipe and Presilenser. wich you will need. presilencer and a midpipe. ( for TII ) . throttle cable. new fuel pump. im gettin a fuel pressure regulator. and you dont even need the TII ECU, im just using the NA wiring harness. easier on me so i dont have to pull it threw the firewall and feed a new one back threw.

if you need anymore help just PM me becuase i am going threw the same thing you are kind of and i might have already done it so just give me a holler and ask me something and i will let you know if i know or not.. ( )

oh and Rotary Resurrection is a good source for the NA - TII swap.

You can use the na harness but you NEED a turbo ECU. N/A ECU don't recognize boost nor does the n/a pressure sensor (1bar sensor vs 2 bar sensor).

Definately. If it were me I would just rebuild it as soon as I got it to ensure that it worked when I put it in, plus I could port it.

I also am doing this swap, through JSpec. I'm new at this... how does one go about porting a rotary engine? Preferably without spending an obscene amount of money doing it?

You tear the engine down and port it. See the Mazdatrix FAQ for an idea of how to port. While your there, take a look at the prices of gaskets, apex seals etc you'll need to rebuild the engine. Then figure out if that is obscene or not.

Read the FAQ. This has all been well covered a million times.

As for porting, figure $2500 if you pay someone else to do it and rebuild the engine.

Hey dude, I was planning on doing the same to my NA, but I'm in college and don't have the time.
If you've got all the parts, it goes faster, one of my buddies did the swap.

But what I've got, it's a mostly full S4 Turbo swap, I've got all but the pressure sensor and the airflow meter.

I'm lookin for about $2000obo, let me know.
