T2 swap, now new problems

Ok so while hooking up the wiring I couldn't find the oil pressure sending unit on the engine then found out that it was broken off. So I just thought that I would not get my guage to work and that will be all.

When trying to start the engine it would not start just crank, we found out we have spark, compression, and fuel, but for some reason fuel did not get in the engine.
So we started the engine with staring fluid and it fired up for like 30 sec until it squirted most of the oil on the floor thru the oil pressure sensor.

Now my questions, How would I fix that sending unit, where can I buy those reverse taps so I can drill it out? and will I have to remove the engine just to work with the sensor?
Also reguarding the starting of the car, what can cause fuel not to get inside the egine when theres feul flowing thru the lines?
Thanks in advance.

If it's what they call a JDM engine, then most likely if you swap the fuel lines at the engine you'll now get fuel to the rails. JDM are just opposite the USA sold version in that area.

I guess you'll just have to buy a extractor to get the remains of the pressure sensor out. They're called a EZOUT in some places/shops/autostores. That is a pipe thread so it won't come out as easy as if it were a regular threaded bolt. But then you have an advantage in that the remains already have a hole for the ezout. Cramped quarters though.

Swap the two lines in the jpg.

The other jpg is a fuckup by some airman. A friend sent me that jpg. We guess some airman was doing a low power engine run on the ramp (has anti personel screen on the inlet...engine bay doors open, download door open etc). Probably had ice on the ramp and it got away from him. End of career I would suspect. All speculation.

Well I did took off the rat nest and connected the fuel lines like this... line from fuel filter to the lower fuel rail and the top fuel rail to the return line in the car.

if swapping the lines dont help look at whats left.
after the fuel lines trace what it flows through next . . fuel rails and injectors right.. maybe u could also check the fuel line that runs under the throttle body 2 see if it some how got clogged. there really isnt that much to look for after the fuel lines

The LAST thing in the fuel system is the FPR. The FPR has the vacuum nipple on it also. Connect your Return line to that FPR and things should work.

It's easy to find out if it's plumbed right. Just remove the return line and turn the pump on. Fuel should flow out the return line. If not, then things are not plumbed right.

EDIT: Try POST #5 on this thread: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...JDM+FUEL+LINES

He says/they say the JDM has the FPR on the primary rail (lower fuel rail), so that is where the Return line should be connected to. The Pressure line should be connected to the secondary fuel rail (upper fuel rail).

That's just opposite the USA version of this engine where the FPR is on the rear end of the secondary fuel rail.

I remember that I connected the vacumm line to the fpr in the top rail. O well will try to swap the lines after I fix my oil sensor situation.

Well if the FPR is on the top rail, then that sounds like a normal USA fuel rail install.

The USA version looks exactly like the first post on this site: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...JDM+FUEL+LINES

The JDM install has the FPR and PD in just the opposite positions, so the return and pressure lines would not be routed the same on those engines.

The LAST thing in the fuel routing should be the FPR.

My engine is used from Japan and it also has the FPR on the secondary fuel line. Maybe it was on the primary on the S4 engines?
