t2 running trouble

i have just redone most of my turbo 2 fuel system...injector gromets, new lines up to the firewall new intake gaskets. i have also done emissions removal and checked my coils and they are all within spec. im fairly sure that there is no vaccume leaks in the system. i have a problem on aceleration...when i hit the gas the car boggs and backfires. i was thinking most likley a fuel pump problem. can anyone shed some light on this problem.

that would cause it to backfire and all that?...also when i throw new plugs in the car it seems to run better but that was before i did the emissions removal i havent had the car running long enough to do any type of evalution after emissions removal because the car will barely start now...i used to have a prolem where after about 5 minutes of running the car would shut off so i figured it was some kind of vaccume leak so i did emissions removal and sealed everything up... i was also told it could maybe be my cas and that it needs to be adjusted

nope i think it just has to be adjusted...it shouldnt be off that bad but it may be...also i was told when i bought this car that it had a mild home done porting so i was thinking that that would probably have something to do with it to...how would i go about getting the correct cas timing with a port...its stock ecu too so idk if theres any window of adjustment
