T2-N/T Tranny swap?

Is it ok to swap a T2 tranny into a N/T, both cars are '87s...my input shaft went in the N/T and this tranny is in good shape and cheap...can I do that?

yes, but you will need new tranny cross member, new clutch slave, new starter, and a custom drive shaft
