Is T2 Middle Iron interchangable with NA?? My friend has a good shape Middle Iron from an S5 NA with big ports on it. I was wondering if i could use it? We compared it to the T2 and there almost the same. We tapped the NA because theres no Thread for the stud for the lower intake mainifold to bolt onto. Other then that, everything else seems excatly the same. I shouldnt have a problem using this right?

 

Ive read/hurd of people swapping in a T2 center iron inplace of a non-turbo iron in a n/a engine for a performance increase, but never the other way around. It should work, however im not sure if you will loose/gain/stay the same with your power output

I would like to know the official verdict to this.. can you use an n/a center iron in place of a turbo iron? and what are the disadvantages if any?

 

there is an added threaded hole below the two intake ports for attaching the intake manifold.
