T2 LIM orings

Well I started reassembling everything today and I tried getting the orings on the lower manifold in place but they wont fit in that little opening?? I didnt replace the orings cause they looked to be in almost perfect condition but is it possible they expanded? Are they supposed to fit in the little opening? On the manifold or block side of the gasket? Thanks in advance.

They do indeed swell up and won't fit. Not worth trying. Get new ones and use a little rtv to hold them in place while reassy the thing.

Besides....they are cheap and a pain in the *** to replace. You might as well replace them while you have them out. I used hylomar to hold them in place, seemed to work well.
