T2 Hood Clearance?(searched)

i got a t2 hood for my na to t2 swap. The hood closes fine but at the top( by the winsheild) it seems to sit on top of some metal

Are you trying to say your hood doesn't fit but instead leaves a big crease near your windshield?

The hood doesn't close flat when you close it up by the windsheild its poping up and it looks to be sitting on something .

what is it sitting on?

Edit: the wife says to look for any tools you might be too blind to see getting stuck.

im not sure if its possible on a 2nd gen but it could be adjusted down so far that it hits the firewall? try losening the hood bolts and adjusting it

thats whats it hitting the firewall!! i tryed losing the bolts didn't change anything. Maybe the holes are smaller one the hinges?
