Searching idle. clutch fan constantly running.

this is a 1991 N/a RX7
well i put tps, clutch fan and smog pump back on.. from Junpower..
mmm... starting the car in the morning it cranks but dosen't catch unless i tap the throttle then it surges around 1.5k - 2k rpms then i give it a small tap again and it goes into the 3 k warm up.. but after that it drops to about 1k. and lower i let it warm up a bit. then i drove it back and forth in my dead end street and then parked it ( its still running bout then the idle jumps) around 1k and lower.

im thinking it could be the plugs, i put those in when i swaped the motor but they been through more then a couple of floodings.
spark plug wires are new.
i change my fuel filter and sock in the tank already.
i got a free afm from junpower but i dropped the stock air box like a meat!!! mmm. afm are very sensetive. junpower says. hope i didn't break it.
should i swap in some new plugs and see what happened ?

mm and the clutch fan is still running. when i first start the car in the morning and continues to run, constantly. even when its at operating tmp. it could be that too. mmm at least the tab in the front isn't bent of damaged like my old one.
Why does the clutch fan always run? and when is supposed to run and not.

****
Junpower did not sell me broken or damaged parts. hes a good fellow rx7 owner. honest.
Hes done nothing wrong to me and I've done nothing wrong to him, so we cool.

The stock thermo clutch fan always spins.

When cold, it freewheels a bit- but still spins- and as it heats up it locks up and spins the same RPM as the waterpump it's bolted to.

Start the engine from cold and grab the fan. It'll stop easily in your hand and put very little pressure on it. The thermoclutch is barely engaged.

Spark plugs aren't going to cause these symptoms, but if they're old you should replace them anyway. Sounds more like vac leaks...

im recheck the areas in which i worked in when i put the tps and smog pump in.
in the mean time the car runs but it smells rich. idle skips about couple hundred rpms. but its never died on me. its a vac leak maybe really small too. im got get some carb spray and ill check it out. and see what comes up. in the mean time the car runs but it smells rich. tps needs adjusting ?! or timing check both ?

another question is about my passager window. its slow coming up and going down. today it got stuck about half way? and the passager window switch doesn't work. what could it be. does something need some gease ?? or lube ?

If you've removed the emission controls it'll smell a bit rich at idle. It's perfectly normal and it doesn't indicate anything about mixtures while driving.
