t2 fuel pump

Can I take the actual fuel pump (not the assembly, just the pump) from an 87 t2 and uses it for a turbo conversion on a 89+ car?

i would say yes...as long as u`ll be able to mount it and wire it up (but there shouldn`t be any differences....)
