Question t2 fuel problem

ok i have a 89 jspec turbo swap and i cant get it to start, but if i pour a little fuel down the intake it starts then dies once the fuel is gone, im getting signal from the ecu but the injectors dont seem to squirt im thinking, i have also tried running the fuel lines both ways as i have heard that jdm lines are switched around? it has fuel pressure both ways. any suggestions before i go out and spend a grip on new injectors?

Does it try to start at all without you putting in fuel? I know a bad AFM connection will start and immediatly die.

I wouldn't waste money on new injecors. It isn't likely they're bad.

Take the return line off the hard line on the engine. It's the one NOT going to the fuel filter below the brake booster area.

Turn the key to ON.

Have someone hold a container over the hard line you just removed the line from. While they hold a container over that line to catch any fuel, jumper the fuel pump check connector located near the boost/pressue sensor. It's two sockets and yellow in color with maybe a piece of black shrink tubing around it.

With the key to ON and you jumpering the two socket connector, you should hear a click of a relay AND fuel coming out the return line (hard line on the engine). So do that and see if that is happening or not.

Also, if all the lines are connected up and you put the key to ON, AND jumper the fuel pump check connector, fuel should run continuously to the engine then back to the tank. So do that, and listen at the fuel cap to see if you can hear the continuous running of the fuel back to the tank. IF you hear that, then the fuel lines are on right.

What else can you do. PUll the connector off the ECU and put a meter to the sockets that are for the fuel injectors. With the key to ON, you should have 12vdc on each wire of the PLUG that goes to the ECU.'

You have spark, so the injectors should be opening. Try this: Pull the small white plugs off the lead and trail coils. Taike you CAS off the old engine and connect the electrical plug for the CAS that is in the car right now. Put the key to ON. Turn the CAS's bottom gear rapidly and LISTEN. If you hear CLICKING, that is the injectors opening and closing.

I don't know what else to say, except I'm NOT a believer in fuel injectors going to hell in a hand basket overnight. and both primarys at the same time.

ok so i tested everything the way HAILERS said to do and everything was correct or working right except the injectors, so i took the na's and put them on JUST TO START the motor and see if the t2 injectors were the problem, and guess what, it started right up, so i guess the primarys were bad who da thunk lol. so knowing thats the problem i need 2 new or used but working t2 injectors gaaaaaa. once again thanks to the two people who gave me some suggestions.
