T2 Exhaust System Questions

Yeah I saw Cork Sports new T2 Exhaust System from the Turbo all the way back. And the exhaust is 3 1/8in all the way back. It is for like $500. Is Cork Sport a good company cuz I dont want to spend the $800 for the Racing Beat Turbo II full exhaust if I dont have to. The Racing Beat isnt even a full 3in all the way back. I need this exhaust system real soon...so any help someone could offer me I would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Mike

Corksports exhaust has been rumoured to have some fitment issues, and from when I heard it, is ridiculously loud... annoyingly so.

No one complains about the RB. It sounds nice, and its not too loud.

I have a single with a CS straight pipe and I have a RB turbo back. A turbo back exhaust is the cheapest increace in power you can get period. There is a trade off no matter which one you get, noise level. The RB is quiet untill you get on it or just drive 70 mph down the freeway. My single is custom with a 80mm DP, 80mm straight pipe, resonator and 2 mufflers in series is louder at idle but quieter on the freeway and the ported wastegate boosts to 10 psi - perfect. Just get a amp for your stereo and either way is a BIG jump in power. The CS exhaust is perfect if you want max performance, & light weight. Yes it's loud.

Tanabe Hyper Medallion. Awesome system. When cold it sounds stock. When warm it rumbles low, but not loud. Under boost... mmmmmm.... from inside you hear air leaving the car from the rear, but barely any engine sound. From outside, all you can hear is the sound of air leaving a pipe. It's an amazing system.

So I definitely would not be wasting my money on the Full Turbo Back Corksport Exhaust? I am glad to hear that...So the Single 3 1/8in design of the CS Exhaust will give me MAX POWER right?

If u want a single that will last I would recommend HKS or Apexi or even Greddy. They all make top end single N1 styles exhausts. I've had my Apexi N1 for 3yrs now and still no rust.

yeah I have the corksport catback hooked to a thunder fab DP/MP and its loud as hell. I use the silenser they sell aswell. Anyways I would try the titanium version they sell and let us know what you think. Also if you are a person who is into "shiney' exhaust tips the corksport will not stay shiney long. It actually turns a gunmetal/bronze. I have had mine for 2 years and its darkend up but not a spot of rust anywhere so I guess it hold up. Might try taking some steel wool to it but I dont give a rats ***

If you don't care about noise tickets and your ears If you actually want to be able to talk to people in your car or hear emergency vehicles use something that is actually doing its job. RB all the way.

Loud and sounds amazing I think. All my buddies say its a angry chainsaw, but they are used to driving turbo 4 bangers, and straight piped v8's. I can guarantee you that you will fall in love with the sound. It is truly magical. lol

Thank you I was very concerned when I had heard that the exhaust has fitment issues. Well it looks like I will be gettin the Turbo Back CS Exhaust. So anyone know the gains of this Full Exhaust system? I am sure its at least around 59hp like the RB considering that the CS Exhaust is actually 3in all the way back and the RB is not. Thanks for answering my questions...just tryin to learn.

You should buy a new one. Also the CS exhaust doesn't have any gaskets for the pipes. You need to fab up or buy 3 80mm" two screw flanged gaskets.
