T2 drivetrain weight?

T2 drivetrain weight?

anyone know how much added weight a t2 drivetrain will add? the tranny, drive shaft, rear end ans half shafts specifically.

yeah, it'll add a lot to put a drivetrain on, i'd just leave it off

I shoulve weighed mine when I had them both out side by side..but I didnt. I have a T2 tranny and a N/A tranny out, as well as driveshafts, that I could weigh and post up, Ill do that tomorrow. I dont have a T2 rear end out to weigh though, but it is significantly heavier than the N/A one.

About 25-35 over the stock NA 5sp stuff. The trans is a good 15lb heavier, and the rear is a good 20lb heavier.
