t2 conversion in the vert 91 vert 87ecu

ok i have read a lot of differnt things out there about the conversion, tell me what you think about the ideas i have for it,
first i have a 87(early) with a low imp ecu t2 that is what i would like to use

second the harness is showing age, so i have a new 88 harness that i took on trade would like to use this instead of wiring a ploom from a jspec motor to fix the 87, does anyone know if this will work? i have heard the 88 harness is slightly different and the injectors are backwards, ie primary 1 is switched with primary 2

third i want to use the stock cluster(i prefer the alt over the useless booste gauge) will this work with the 87 ecu? or will i have to swap the cluster harness(DAMN i hope not) i have a 91 that is what im worried about
ok that is it for the electrical side of it
hear comes the electrical on the motor
all jspec S4 with no egr or warm up, 87 afm(i wish someone could figure how to use the linear afms with the s4 ecu)
manifold will be at least a S5 ported possibly a Fd(get to that later)

ok now here comes trick one... hehehe i have a large ic that i want to put in engine location ie like a fd, i would like to do a fmic but after all the work that needs to be done plus the fact that A boost lag will jump and i live in Fl so the ac is a must(sadly) so i figure the up front local will only rase lag slightly and still keep my motor cool, via t2 hood. of corse i would have to manufacture custom pipes for the manifold and turbo

ok here is trick 2(hopefully this will work) i have a 93 engine that i took as a core on one of my jspec motors. we all know the mounts on on the rear vs the middle for the T2 so what i am thinking is front and rear N3A1(3rdgen) plates huge ports and a S4 middleplate for the engine mounts, 2 things i have concern with first will the fd plates match with a t2 rotor housing with out compremising the water jacket also if i do this i will be useing a fd intake manifold and porting the intake of the side plate, i know that i can not have the inside port like the n3a1 but the manifold port i should be able to get close, what do you rotorheads think!!! if i could use the Fd manifold doing the ic conversion would be easy especialy since i have a hard pipe from tb to ic!!!

hopefully you guys can help me out, i would like a special vert a little different then the standerd t2 swap
also my motor will have below
N3A1 rotors with 3mm
S5 rhousing ported
Hopefully N3a1 rear and front sides, if not S5 ported
all reliablility mods
550cc primary low imp and 680 secondary
91 turbo ported wastegate manifold and turbo
Lets hope the N3a1 manifold, if not a S5 ported and polished,
N3A1 polished alternator!!! tell me what you think i am very appreactive!!!!!

General concensus....

is to NEVER try and mix series in doing a retro-fit. If you have a S5 Vert, then you need a S5 T2 donor car. S4 Vert, then the '87 works fine.

S4 retrofit is more work than S5 in that you'll need to swap out the main wire harness through the drivers side. S5 retro-fit's, as I've read, you can stay with the main wire harness already in your Vert.

Key issue is the elec. plugs are different, so major brain damage.
