T2 clutch options

Looking for suggestions for a decent T2 flywheel/clutch package.

target HP is 350 at the wheels.

car is an 85 gsl-se with a 13B-REW. Mating it to an S1 RX8 6 speed.

Im leaning towards an exedy package. Car will be used for occasional spirited driving. No competition or track time is slated for it.

regards,

Ray

i went with this one, https://www.rhdjapan.com/orc-400-lig...-kit-fc3s.html
it was the price performer! i thought about OS Giken too.

currently in the car is an ACT extreme setup, and it has held the power for a long time (clutch is maybe 20 years old?), but not only is pedal effort high, it wants more pedal travel too, which makes it easily the worst part of the car.

Exedy should be fine too, but its expensive

i have always preferred the ACT full face street clutches, it's an upgrade from stock but with a stock feel. i don't really see the need for the extreme PP in such a light car as the RX7.

Recommend a lightweight steel flywheel, feels like a free hp adder. Anything lighter than that gets a bit ridiculous by really affecting drivability.

Id second that os giken is nice. Hopefully could find a lightly used one for a deal. Let my buddy drive my car and he mentioned it’s the best feeling clutch he’s ever driven.

OS Giken is nice because they sell all the stuff to rebuild any clutch, that being said the way the cost worked out it doesn't really save any money.
RHD Japan has the best prices for some reason. i was really close to buying one

OH the other thing about a twin disc clutch is that you need to align TWO discs, which could be a thing

I have a used OS Giken twin plate clutch that I plan to sell. I have a 1987 TII and the clutch was bought for the car. The clutch is currently in storage, I'd like to have the model of the item to better describe it to you. I need to get it out and get some photos of it also, which I haven't done yet. If you think this might work for you let me know.

I appreciate the offer. I believe I have a deal in place with a local to buy his lightly used exedy hyper single sprung clutch/flywheel.
