Lightbulb T2 axle interchange w/ 88-91 929. Double checking.

I understand t2 axles are interchangeable with 1988-91 929 driver side axles (correct me if I’m wrong before I place an order). I read on another thread there is a small length difference (I read 5mm, not sure if longer or shorter).

Is there any specific submodel I need to get the cv axles from? Is it still a good idea to run these to replace t2 axles?

just wanted to double check before I order online and have to pay a bunch in shipping for a refund if incorrect.

thanks.

i don't know the rest, but there is only one part number for a left axle for a 929 from 88-91.

Thanks so that’s solved. I’ve ordered fc axle spacers from maverick motorsports before (well 1... long story or rather literally a “short” story”. They mention a use for them is if you upgrade to the 929 axles. Does anyone know if the 929 axles are in fact shorter than t2?

From what I see, the 929 compressed length 23 15/32" while the TII axle 24 1/3", diff .91475".
