T2 4 piston front calipers= a $#@%^ to take off
anyone got any advice taking off the (2) 17mm bolts holding in the caliper?
besides pb blasting it, anything else?
they are so freaking hard to take off, any idea besides an impact gun?
i've tried to use a wrench and a hammer, no help, putting 2 wrenches together no help
also
the hardline for the 4 piston calipers
when we took out the stock suspension
the whole front hub assembly fell
and the hardline wasw still connected to the strut
and bent a lil of the hardline
its not kinked but it bent a lil
should i worry and replace it, or should it be ok?
if i could replace anywhere else that sells them besides the dealership?
thanks
Greg

Can't get the 17mm bolts out?
Don't be a *****.
Bent the hard line?
You can buy a piece of brake line in various lengths you need from Auto Zone or most auto parts stores that already have the fittings installed. Take your old one in to match length and threads. You will also need a tubing bender since the tubing comes straight.
The tubing bender and tubing should be less than 10 bucks.

This is an interesting thread. Breaker bar is it. But if you really want to go cheep then get a pipe from around the house that will fit over your extension and use it as a breaker bar. I haven't broken a tool yet doing that. Heat is good too but use that as your last resort.
