T2 13bt - 13b-rew

Would it be hard to fit a 13b-rew to my T2 using a Haltech Ecu ?

What else would i need? (other than an engine)

In the big plan of things i would like to triple Rotor my car but i would like to do one of Jeff Bruces Triple mods using the Existing engine but if i was going to do that it would have to be on a Rew. So i am after puting one in it now.

Thanks

Cosmo Donk put a Cosmo 13BRE in his TII. Maybe it will be of some help.

If you're talking FD 13B-REW, it's a royal pain in the ***.
Greg Coe managed to do this by drilling the center housing for the 13BT passenger side engine mount, using a 13BT oil pan, and modifying the front lip of the oil pan to fit the slightly shorter 13B-REW front iron.

Definitely go for the JC Cosmo 13B. Not only is it easier to mount (same mounts as FC), it's a much better basis for building a grunter 13B. The ports are much bigger than the FD 13B and it has a totally different intake manifold with a bigger volume plenum, similar to the 20B's.

I have the FD motor in mine and it was a pain in the ***. Would I do it again yes. But that's cause I'm partial to the twin turbo system. If you don't care to much about the sequential turbos I would go with the Cosmo motor as there are people who sell motor mounts for them already to fit in your car. If you intend to go with the FD engine email me @ rx-7joe@rcn.com and I can give you some pointers.
