Thumbs up t04b setup

hi, i just want to know if my TII will have no problem boosting a t04b with stock ports, the compressor whell is .60 and the turbine housing is 1.05. i will be running this turbine with a safc, 1000cc or 1600cc secondary injectors dont know yet, front mount intercooler and with an electric exhaust cutout (so i dont have to gut my original cat back exhaust) and a walbro 255 fuel pump. i want to run at 10psi low boost and 14 psi high boost. can anyone also tell me if this is a good setup and the estimate hp at 14 psi of boost if possible.

thanks

You should be fine with that setup, but make sure you have an adjustible FPR and a nice pump... What wastegate spring are you running? I would say @ 14psi on stock ports, you're easily looking at 350whp...

you will need a non-stock wastegate spring if you want to run that much boost!

14PSI is easy, you'll want the 1600 secondaries and possibly bigger primaries. They aren't necessary -but when you decide that the car still isn't fast enough - then you will have room still!

Better do some research. Timing on the stock ecu is only retarded up to 8.6 psi. Your nearly doubling that with no additional timing corrections. A lot of people will do that which ends up being the demise of many motors.

Question

I was told to add 1000cc injectors and s-afc.

I have the Rtek7 v1.5 chip but will be upgrading to the v1.7 before startup, I also have a hybrid to4b, fmic, paxton FPR, a ITO aggressive street port with RB exhaust ports, adding a msd 6a, mostly all the oil mods offered are done .. im depending on the Rtek7 to adjust the timing a bit and only plan on running 14-15 psi max track days controlled by a manual boost controller..

I have the same question for these injectors.
would they keep my setup in the safe zone or would 720cc primaries and 850cc secondaries be better. ? .

Reted could you shime in a bit on whats recommended with these motors
