t-stat o-ring help!

on an S5 NA, is the T-stat o-ring a special kind or is it a regular o-ring. I need to change my t-stat today and no one in town has the gasket, I have the new stat but not the gasket.

Can I use a regular o-ring or make a gasket with gasket paper or do I need to use the right o-ring?

C'mon Reted, RTV is hack if OEM is gasket!

Just go to the dealer and buy the gasket!

Dude, the guy said he needed to do it right now! :P

If I had the o-ring I would use it, but if I was in a pinch, I'd just RTV it!
