Bought a radiator for my 88 but it came from an 86. Now I have to use one radiator cap which is on the engine. Will I need a gasket when i switch my old radiator cap housing from my old radiator to the radiator cap housing on the engine. I am doing this because the 88 set up has the radiator cap housing with external tank nipple on the radiator itself (2 cap system).

 

fixed. radiator cap housing has a seated rubber gasket. radiator works fine.
