I have the stock rims on my GXL but they are all smashed and scratched. I just bought a new set of wheels that has been painted silver. I'm going to put those on my car as soon as I get them shined up. How should I go about making them look good. I like the brushed aluminum look but I don't think I can get that from under the paint. How would you suggest I treat the wheels to get them ready to paint or strip the paint off.
