Swapping S5 NA motor into S4 car. Using s4 mani, want to run premix, remove OMP?
Ok guys, my cousin blew his s4 na last week. I happen to have an s5 na motor i just pulled from another running car. I decided to swap that motor into his car. To keep things simple I decided just to use the s4 na intake manifold on the old s5 block and keep the rats nest and emissions **** (don't have the time to screw with removing everything plus I want to keep her civil). I will be using the s4 ecu and harness.
From what I understood I needed to swap the front cover if I wanted to run the s4 OMP. If I want to run premix then I obviously don't need to swap the front cover because i won't need the OMP, so I am saving myself a step.
I also would like to be even more lazy and just leave the OMP in place. Will this work since I am running an s5 intake manifold, ecu and harness? I don't have the time to mess with blocking everything off.
I also have the airpump from the s5 NA on the car and have no split air pipe to run to the exhaust because he is running a straight pipe and his ports were wired open on the s4.

Sequentially broken
If you keep the S5 front cover you could just leave it disconnected (eOMP). You'll obviously need to premix. If you're keeping the airpump, create an adapter with a bleed valve to control your aux ports. Better drivability that way.

Hmm. I planned on just plugging up the nipples and leaving the OMP on there with the lines nippled off as well.
I just need to get this car running again so this kid can go to work. I have people I need to get stuff shipped off to from my parts car as well as other **** done on top of it being COLD AS HELL.
