Swaping to Power windows problem
I just purchased the wiring harnesses for both doors, power window door panels, window regulators, and switchs. I installed everything right and turned the key to ACC and nothing happened. I have a 89 GTU that came stock with manual windows. The stock wiring harnessess did not have the neccessary connectors for power window. I noticed that the under the dash wiring for the windows also didn't come with the neccessary four wires to power the windows. Has anybody else run into this problem? What steps did you take to solve the situation?

You would have to run the extra wires in the car.
There are multiple interior harnesses, each one specific for model. This was more of a problem on the S5 cars, as Mazda was trying to cut costs.

Power Windows
I looked at the wiring diagram in the service manual and had my friends help me re-wire the four new wires. I got the windows in working condition. The only problem is the main left window switch is a piece of crap. I purchase two on ebay and they seem to brake( the plastic buttons). I have the left switch stripped down to the bone and hanging out of the arm rest so I can opperate it. Would you know of a good place to buy a new one? S5 version preferable.
